Cycling is Bad for you
my little universe December 15th, 2008if you happen to be an Iliac artery….
Over thanksgiving i was diagnosed with Iliac endofibrosis. which is a fancy way of saying the big vein in the leg is bent and i get less then half the blood flow to my right leg. it is easy to see how this can be detrimental to cycling ability.
the good thing is i now know why i have been sub par for the last few years, and i know what to do to correct it. which is what i will be doing tomorrow. my surgery is scheduled on Tuesday morning to go in clean it out and fix me back up.
I will be doing more posts after the surgery because i get to sit in bed and be immobile for a week.
also i have become a little more proficient with the adobe illustrator so the drawings will be making a come back

Good luck and a fast recovery. I guess that condition can be very serious if not treated.

Hey man, I had the same thing and had surgery to correct it. Would you mind discussing it with me when you have time? Which surgeon are you seeing?
