Elk Grove and I may never get along…but we’re getting better. I have had a bitter battle with the tour of Elk Grove for a while now. I’m happy to report that i finally made it past the 3rd lap!!!!  with out crashing!!! it only took three years to get those pesky 180’s down.

i am also unhappy to report that for the first time ever i missed my TT start time.  Now, i didn’t miss it by some Zirbel beating amount of time, no, no, no.  But i would have risen from a piss poor result to, well, still piss poor.

The big news of the weekend was the $150,000 purse combined with the 56 rider field.  seriously, do the math.  $2,700 each.  a little group ride, some easy 180’s, everybody’s happy.  but NO, we had to RACE.  let ask the guys that fell down and broke stuff which deal they’d take now.

ok, but really, I did have a good time this weekend and got a few results and I an looking forward to Downer’s Grove. here’s to keeping the form rolling
