secret training????
my little universe September 17th, 2007At first glance these look like horrific crashes….because they are. but that’s when the strange stuff starts to happen….the riders get up, there fine. right when the ambulance should be breaking out the spatula and a squeegee, they just get up and walk away. which begs the question “how’d they do that?”
well i did some investigating and this is what i found was absolutly amazing. we are way beyond conventional training techniques here….
And this is what was on the back of this video….
and this too
it seem there is a correlation with break dancing and winning criterium national championships. Tina and Brad both happen to be national calibre breakers as well as being pretty good on the bike. it just goes to show if you want to learn how to fall with some grace maybe its time to run down to the local dance academy

Since I first read this post, I’ve been walking around with my pant leg tucked in like the guy pictured in the mirror. I’ve also tried wearing my hat sideways, chewing gum in an exaggerated manor, and walking around with a big overbite. Just this little bit of cross training has helped. I can really feel it. Thanks for the inside info!

Chad, this is really really funny and made blake, al, jason, brad and I laugh for a good couple of minutes. However, we all agreed that you have way too much time on your hands hahahahaha.
Are you track nationaling it?
Call me love.

O god. I actually have that video! Mike Garcia also known as “Breaker” has the amazing talent of smiling after every breakdancing move he shows you, much like on an infomercial. It turns out he isn’t as tough or “bad” as you would think, but very content and happy with his life!
I recommend Ki Aikido training for learning how to fall like this guy: http://www.rocklandaikido.com/images/kokyunage1.jpg
