the Record books that is. finishing the 156 miles in 5:45 is about 6 minutes faster then the previous quick time. and 30 minutes faster then last year. the early break never got away, well it did but pate, werry, and hendy were in it so it never really had a chance. any way to give you and idea of the day we had i have a few different data points from around the group.

Taylor tolleson- Avg Power (including coasting) 320 watts (winner of the most watts contest i think)

the race never got crazy hard just that annoying pace all day. a lot of reports of guys just wanting a 5 minute break to pee- but no such luck.

I’m out here in our hotel for Philly.  we’ve been bumping back and forth form great hotels to very shady hotels (right now is the later).  anyway Lancaster was rough like always, more so because it rained.  My leg is great and the only problem is a lack of strength endurance.  every day i feel stronger, i just wish my fitness was where it could be.  any who.  in lancaster i got myself a little too excited and dropped myself.  i was i bad position when CSC started chasing and in a panic i tried to move up too much too soon.  i just went to much into the red and game over.  on the plus side David vittoria made it into the final move and would have done better then his 7th place had he not gone off the rode on a wet down hill corner.

As for reading, the day started slow for me.  i had bad legs at the start but they came around by the 3rd lap or so.  we were to look after David and moninger for the hills, so coming into the last three laps i dropped back to get scott but he was so far back i couldnt find him, so i tried to get back to the front for the leadout.  needless to say i gased myself again and dropped myself.  from the begining i was a bit scared that the race was going to go carzy the first time up the hill, and that i wouldn’t really stand a chance. but it didnt and as i watched the race come by for its second accent the size of the group was big enough the i could have been in there for sure. oh well.  its been so long since i have been able to really go i guess my heads just not with it yet.  one of these days i’ll get my stuff together and have a good ride.  any way check me out here and here ok thats all i got for right now, we’ll talk again soon
